Join the A&D Sessions at the OECI Oncology Days 2025 in Athens!
We warmly invite you to attend the Accreditation and Designation Sessions at the OECI Oncology Days 2025, taking place from 11–13 June 2025 in Athens, Greece.
These two dedicated sessions will bring together cancer centre leaders, quality experts, and international partners to reflect on the evolving role of quality assessment, research integration, and collaborative care in cancer centres across and beyond Europe.
We invite all members of the OECI network and wider oncology community to join us for two dedicated sessions on Wednesday, 11 June, exploring how accreditation continues to drive excellence and collaboration in cancer care.
Session 1 (08:45–11:00) will present the outcomes of the revision of the A&D Standards and Manual, including changes related to research designation and the introduction of network standards. We will also explore how twinning initiatives can accelerate research collaboration, and introduce the international expansion of the programme under OECI World, including ties with South America.
Session 2 (11:15–13:00) will focus on the quality tools used across the OECI network, including patient pathways, multidisciplinary teams, and treatment volume thresholds. We will conclude with a Directors’ Panel, where leading cancer centre directors will discuss the current challenges facing oncology institutions and how the A&D Programme can continue to support centres through re-accreditation and beyond.
