OECI Auditors’ Training Session 2026 – Lisbon
The OECI Accreditation and Designation Programme, which has been growing and developing for 20 years and now embraces more than 100 cancer centres globally, brought together its auditor community in Lisbon for the OECI Auditors’ Training Session.
Over three days, auditors, governance boards and programme management exchanged best practices and reflected on ways to further improve and innovate auditing processes. With more than 140 expert peer reviewers involved in the programme, the session provided an important opportunity to strengthen consistency, quality and shared understanding across the network.
The objectives of the OECI Auditors’ Training Session were successfully addressed:
- to bring together the large auditor cohort;
- to share best practices and learn from one another;
- to consider improvements and innovations in processes and ways of working;
- and to ensure consistently high quality in peer reviews.
The event offered valuable time for networking, dialogue and interaction, reinforcing the commitment of the OECI auditor community to rigorous, forward-looking cancer centre evaluation.
