OECI Standards Manual 4.0 Awarded ISQua EEA Accreditation
The Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) is pleased to announce that the standards that are presented in the Accreditation and Designation User Manual Version 4.0 has been awarded accreditation by the International Society for Quality in Health Care External Evaluation Association (ISQua EEA). This decision was formally endorsed by the ISQua EEA External Evaluation Award Committee on 8 September 2026.
The accreditation is valid from September 2026 through September 2030, confirming that the OECI standards continue to meet internationally recognised requirements for external evaluation programmes.
This achievement represents an important milestone for the OECI Accreditation and Designation Programme and provides independent international recognition of the quality, rigor, and continuous improvement approach embedded within the OECI standards and assessment methodology. ISQua EEA accreditation demonstrates that the OECI framework aligns with internationally accepted principles for healthcare quality evaluation and accreditation programmes.
OECI would like to thank all members, cancer centres, auditors, working group participants, reviewers, and staff who contributed to the development and continuous improvement of the Accreditation and Designation Programme. Their expertise and commitment have been instrumental in achieving this international recognition.
We also acknowledge and appreciate the collaboration with ISQua EEA throughout the evaluation process and look forward to continuing our efforts to support excellence in cancer care and comprehensive cancer centre development across Europe.
