On 25 January 2024, Trinity College Dublin and Trinity St James's Cancer Institute organised the National OECI Forum: Building Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures in Ireland. The event was supported by the Irish Cancer Society Translational Cancer Research Networking Award.

The OECI A&D Board Chair, Jean-Benoit Burrion participated in the meeting and delivered a keynote speech on: Research in Comprehensive Cancer Centres – OECI perspective.
